Inconsistency in US Covid data

The official number of fatalities in recent weeks says that things are worse than in the Spring:, e.g. see the curve of daily deaths here:

the curve of weekly death here (not worse than in the Spring, but almost as bad):

versus excess mortality here (not nearly as bad than in the Spring):
