"Revolutionary" by Jason Priestley
Short sci-fi published at jasonhpriestley.com/revolutionary (one of the best sci-fi I've ever read):

the world-city with my marvelous mates, floating on pharmaceuticals
and caring about nothing beyond the horizon. I loved the feeling of
flight, and I pursued a sport called Scream, a frenetic dance in the
clouds. I would swallow round blue pills and carve out my impossibly
intricate curves across the sky, screaming and laughing at the idea of
life.

фармацевтических препаратах и не заботясь ни о чем за горизонтом.

невероятные замысловатые кривые через всё небо, крича и смеясь над идеей жизни.
