July is pretty intense in this sense; conferences try to eat all the time one has and more...

I was particularly impressed by the keynotes by Jeff Clune (on AI-generating algorithms) and by Alex Smola (who heads AWS AutoGluon) and by the "Neural Architecture Search: Foundations and Trends" tutorial by Colin White and Debadeepta Dey.
