Видел сегодня какие-то совершенно несметные стаи из сотен канадских казарок, летящих на юг, одна за другой...

Видимо, зима их, наконец, достала (но, всё равно, птицы, летящие на зимовку во второй половине января, выглядят странно)...

  • Proposal to do a polar stratospheric aerosol injection in summer-spring time with the aim to protect ice
  • Claim: the aerosols will stay near polar areas and will not interfere with light where we need it
  • Claim: they expect to be able to fully mitigate warming in this fashion (because ice is cooling)
  • Projected cost: 11 billion dollars a year (so looks like peanuts on the scale of climate-related spending)

Хорошо бы, если бы оказалось, что это реалистично...
