Covid data discrepancy

It seems that most of it is undiagnosed or unreported these days.
The reported cases keep going down, the sewage viral concentrations tell a different story (Boston).
(One would hope this is because it has become a sufficiently "pedestrian illness", and is ignored because of that. Or, perhaps, there is now a bias against giving this diagnosis, that would be bad.)
